I played Super Mario 64 since I was little. UT99 give me the remind of SM when I played in different gametypes. For example, Monster hunt, for killing bad guys (Goombas and Bob-omb); Bunny Track (race around the area, this is also affliated with the SM contest about beating the game as fast you can), with a lot of wandering and adventures has been fun. It also fit well for DM/TDM, including your lovely redeemer hunting sessions!

So I couldn't resist, I decided to start making the 1st (fairly ok) level of SM64, the Entry level in the castle.

Not finished designing yet, and will would need to get some help with the textures.

It'll be a long long time if I'll ever decide to do many levels from SM64 due to lack of uED mapping experience. I'd say this is the best idea too, between DM-TDM, MH, and BT. But I can't do it all myself, I'll always ask someone for help on something lol.

Just started making this map because of BT Contribution community map, I feel like doing so.

Don't think we'll be able to get this kind of action going on in UT99. But will skip it to the very last objective thing to do if it is possible by looking into it.

If I feel like making it, I'd def implement a health system HUD like this one but a little more advanced so you can also see how many health you got left # wise.

Just thought of another idea, the Lives Left icon would work best in LMS mode lol.

And whatever else, I better stop...lol

I have seen a few "Atari" like maps, etc., and they are very cool and fun.
We have one on our CMM server that comes to mind called "DM-AtariBATTLEZONE" :geek:
One of our more played maps on CMM, and a fave of mine also.
DM-AtariBATTLEZONE is Very different than all other maps as you will immediately see upon entering it.

Yeah I remember playing on that map, I like it with the rapidfire sniper rifle so sometime you hide behind something lol.

Eigher they got fixed, or I used a bad browser, but now I can see them fine.

I'm not exactly sure how the map will turn up (never even owned an N64, only a PS1/PS2 and a PC) so I can't say anything about the pics.

The only thing for now is I don't have exact texture to make it look like nearly 90% SM64 games and that would take awhile but I'm just going to work on the texture to use default texture for time being. Since I don't know anything about making custom texture for such thing, that's just something I'm going to ask someone for.

But if anyone interested to make some level and submit, that will be fine. If it's better than mine, it will be in the spot. lol.

I got the Project 64 emulator now and going to play SM64 just to look around and see if I can remember the levels and whatever I've been missing. Then the more I mess with uED, the more I actually thought of making the design better.

The sounds will be coming with this too. :D
