NO problem, I think I may start to learn how to map, does the forums have everything I need to get started? I want to work small and build up, maybe a square room kind of like a funnel map so I can learn as I go, any other usefull resources out there?

Thanks!
Yes always check HERE first at HUTP and with myself.
I even used to confer with some of the actual UT99 game designers - even with Innoxx several times way back when. 8)
I have a lot of stuff that I haven't even posted yet - that I should! (Sometime soon I hope)
Yeah, I can't remember IF I wrote a tutorial on THIS subject - sounds familiar like I did though.
Anyway, on thing to remember about Semi-Solids is to NEVER EVER intersect them with any solids!
They shouldn't mix with solids at all - Ever!!!
Use them for decorations or complex structures.
Semi-Solids do not enter the BSP so they don't contribute to poly counts - ergo making your map less laggy!
