I am thinking it might be a waste of money for me to buy UT3 because of that reason!
I am not sure I want all of the muck that they have added onto UT over the years! (like vehicles, etc.)
I like it easy to play and simple! - Like UT99!

I must say, UT3 was fun...... For about a month, the mouse sensitivity is waaay more worse than ut99's. You can adjust it, but it's not like it will make a difference. Online play is impossible when the bloom effect and screenrefreshrate are litterally maxed out, like playing ut99 with 200% game speed . But, the vehicles were VERY fun, and i'm not much of a vehicle fan. Especially when you cook someone to gibs with the deathwalker >: ) Necris vehicles rule!

i Honestly prefer Ut2004 out of any of them , but UT3 is not a bad game i do play it on a regular basis ( as i do for UT99 and 2k4) the only problem is that there just isnt that many players , right now there is no redirect and epic games isnt realy even attempting to fix it, so right now there isnt very many custom maps becuse it would take to long to receive them when joining a server. I think if Epic games just gave the game a chance it would be just as good as UT99 was back in the day if not better.

Yeah, Whatever Floats your Boat!
Some Really like UT99. (or some say the proper acronym is just UT)
Of course most who still play UT99 REALLY LOVE UT99!
A "few" (very few) like(d) UT2003.
Some (dare I say many?) like UT2004 (or UT2k4)
Now a few Like UT3 (they left out one UT version here, UT2003, as that would have made UT3 -> UT4)
And also now a few Hate UT3. 
And some think UT3 is just OK.
Oh, and, I guess UT3 has redirecting ability now. (as far as I have heard) 
That would really be horrible with out redirects!!!
The files must be huge!

UT3 is a waste of money. If you want tanks then get battlefield 2142; the hover tank is fantastic! In UT 3 the tanks feel tacked on, with no charactor to them.
UT99 has sheer speed and features maps that the player/team may use to their advantage. The UT3 maps restrict gameplay. They have interesting looking areas that sadly may not be walked on/camped in.

Seems like the makers of UT would realize that each year UT get worse.
Bring back a version on UT99 for 2010 !!!

Some elements of ut3 were cool, but it was a majot pain and a crasharama mess of
a game for me at least....I gave up and went back to 2k4 and 99 ...but I'm cracked out
on photoshop cs4 atm and am not really playing ut at all atm...
