I made a modelpackage/mappack/gametype mod that brings a almost ut2004 fully ut2004 deathmatch feel into UT99 using gametype and maps.
I converted almost all ut2004 models (42 models) and I have placed them in their correct scale (which is actually larger than ut99 models) and imported 6 UT2004 maps (Rankin,GrendelKeep,Ironic,Spirit,Trite) and created a gametype where only UT2004 models I converted can exist, and the models gameplay also been mimiced and I have accurately made the correct jump heights and dodge jump distance same as those of UT2004 so if you played ut2004 and then play 2k4-Rankin in my mod you won't even feel different, also converted so weapons and some just use sound (Kept flakcanno mesh but use ut2004 speed and sounds, rocket launcher from ut2k4, minigun is unreal 1 minigun but with ut2004 sounds, linkgun is converted, sniper mesh is same but use ut2004 sounds, shockrifle converted).
The test is 138 mb big it is a real huge conversion and absolutely feels like ut2004 on unreal engine 1 and still looks good.
Also I have a effect on that makes the color of maps a little more ut2004 and less dark ut, but if it laggs you and causes probs you can turn it off through ut2004chconfig.ini in line [ut2004charactersv2.skeletalplayer]useeffect= change 1 to 0.
Ill post screen shots and show vid of its first stages (only models, I am now far ahead now)
The gametype is called ut2004 demo and I will change soon.
I'll keep this download up for a while then take off because it is only a test.

and face glitch is definately gone, these models are way better than first. The first was very ugly, these are hot, and the maps are too, and the gametype.
and everyone downloaded the test?

I have asked BlackCheetah to post the demo of UT2004 Extreme v0.3 here for Beta Testing.
I may also send out a small newsletter asking for a few more Beta Testers from other members that haven't been here in a while that I know are still into UT99 but have been busy.
If this is alright with BlackCheetah, I will probably also extend this Beta Test of UT2004 Extreme v0.3 over to some members of Hermskii's place.

I will send to testers, but I don't want this in public where it can be posted everywhere and then lots and lots of people have it and when I actually do release theres mismatches and problems here and there. I'll send to testers on monday and they can comment on what they see and feel. The zip will 200mb+ and when extracted will be 400mb+

You could just name the tester file something different than the final file.
Maybe just add BETA to the file name.

Rename all ut files? because the mod contains all ut files edited and put in mod folder, it has its own exe and files and only requires pallettes.utx from ut textures to work. I can't rename because that would mean mena rename everysingle file over 20+ with beta not to mention they are all linked to those names.

Yes You need a good pc with a good card.
and Yes this is reverse of utr mod except I am getting it right.
