our own downloads thread, this thread shall be divided into 9 Sections (as of September 07 2009)

Okay, if u want a map or a mod or anything, but you dont know how to run it , THEN THIS IS FOR YOU!

First off, to download anything, just click the mediafire link, and then click download.

Second, if u get a umod, then the only thing required will be to double click it, and then select the ut install that you use>

IE mine is c:/unrealtournament

Thats it! your download should work!!

Okay, if u recieve a download that consists of either a .u, .int, .unr, .utx, .umx, or .uax, then there are specific folders you have to stick them in!

Here is how it works it is very simple after all!!
See in your unreal tournament install, there a few folders that are important for downloads they are:
the sound folder, texture folder, music folder, map folder, and system folder.


Here is a table that may help:


File Extension=What type of file it is---What folder it belongs in:

.u=system file--->System folder
.int=system file--->System folder
.unr=Map File--->Map folder
.utx=Texture file--->Texture Folder
.umx=Music File---> Music folder
.uax=Sound File--->Sound folder


Hope that chart helps, so all you have to do is copy paste the file into its specific folder!

So say i download a map and a receive a sound file lets call this file Sound.uax
Then i would select that file, then copy it, and the paste it into the sound folder!

See easy as pie!

MODS/MUTATORS

Ok here are the mutators i have so far......Just click on the name of the mutator you want!



**BINSLAYER Sniper Rifle**--- a very cool sniper that shoots ammo that may annihilate your enemy! Cool custom death message too!

DeathMatch Plus--- When you get killed, you lose a frag. Simple as that lol

Server Adds--- more of an admin tool, is used to make messages appear in the chat box usually to advertise the server/clan. IE one of mine on our server says: Welcome to Crossbones~Your Destiny~ YOUR Way!

U4E V6 --- Unreal For Ever(U4E) cool skins, mutators, its a big mod lol

UTJMH29--- Monster Hunt Mutator, used on alot of servers, can customize health regeneration, max health, max ammo etc.

UTM-COOP_b6--- Cool mutator, Play as Your Favorite monster, has a lot of known bugs though lol ask anyone on this forum, went through some rough times....hah but is cool none-the-less

Zark Rifle V4--- Im just going to copy paste what hook's description for this sniper is : This is from hook's second site here ---> CLICK

Zero Ping Plus 103--- Makes it so the supershockrifle, sniper rifle, enofrcer, and the shockrifle, has no lag when you shoot them, there are separate mutators so you can make it just the supershockrifle etc.

This is all i have SO FAR! will be updated from time to time....

**Means i Had to write a readme for the download, cant stand it when a mutator doesnt have one lol **

Monster hunt is a mod that allows the player to fight the original Unreal Monsters. to play it offline you must download this-->**Monster Hunt Mod**
After you install the mod install this patch to update the mod, make sure you select "yes" to over ride the original copy of monsterhunt.u -->**MHPatch503**

This area is for links to Hermskii's useful downloads i will provide links with short descriptions for each:

Hermskii's UT Manual This thing is great for help on UT99. I used it for all of the servers i have ever ran, and its really simple to follow, could use an update though....

Thats it for Hermskii's downloads there are really about four more, but I will be sticking his CG map packs in the Death Match section, and his Monster Hunt downloads in the monster hunt section. Hmm...the CG maps are all redeemer...i think there may be a redeemer section in the near future **HINT HINT**

Skins!!
Here are links to skin sites, sorry there are no direct skin downloads here, there are just TOO MANY lol
It would take years to list links for the skins for UT99...
Skin City This is probably the best site for skins. I have been getting my skins from here since i first started playing ut99. It has hundreds of skins, not only for ut99 but for all Unreal tournament games.
UT Files This is another great site. This link takes you to the home page where it shows a TON of downloads. If you scroll down there is a skins section there, but take a gander at all of the other downloads too. This has to be the greatest collection of ut downloads there is on the web.

Thats it for now. Even though it is only three links, this should keep you busy skin wise, if it doesnt, then you are hard to please .

Alright i have updated this place again here is a list of what i did:
1. I took off the excess codes, after the upgrade for the forums some of the codes were lost. For example the code for aligning words is lost so there were codes lieing about that i had to clean up, it made it look messy in here.
2. Added a new section that included links to Herm's downloads. (now crossed off the TO DO LIST)
3. Added a new section that includes links to skin sites(now crossed off the TO DO LIST)
4. When ever i add a new thread or majorly change a thread i add this to it -->
TO DO LIST:
(just so when i drop in with some free time i know what i have to do)
1. Comb through hook's sites, and see if other links should be provided in any section(s)
2. Add a Redeemer Section that includes maps, mods, and anything else that includes redeemers.
3. Anything else that may come to mind

I will continue to update this as i see fit, remember post here Questions/Broken Links Thread if you have any questions, ideas, or suggestions.

You've got it listed twice MH-USSR_Volkov-SectorAlpha.zip under the MH map list. Best to also put the PlanetMonterHunt download site also for more maps, etc.
