Update on phpBB2 to phpBB3 conversion here at HUTP ...
This Automatic Conversion was delayed by our host.
It should now take place very soon - circa 6/22/09.
This will be good!
We are currently still on version 2 of phpBB forum software.
Latest Information from our host ...
This has been postponed until we complete the simple admin panel we are working on. We will start conversions on June 22nd and expect it to take 7-10 days before all v2 forums are converted. We feel this will make the transition much easier.
They are making an "optional" Simple Admin Control Panel for the phpBB3 forum software!
This is Great News - especially for the not-so-learned and newer forum admins.
Admins will be able to switch back and forth between the regular ACP and the Simple ACP.
This will also be better for even the advanced forum admins. (like myself LOL)
