Server Name skip the poll - See Last Post!

Alright its time! Please vote for a name u think will best represent this website and the server. If u choose other please post what name u would like it to be, dont vote other just because u dont like the name and u dont have anything to back it up! :wink:

If there is a name up there u like but think needs a little tweaking plz vote for that name and then post what u think should be tweaked.

Currently you have 4 votes.
(mine doesn't count because I don't play there and Hook's shouldn't count so make that 2).
The game styles you're offering are not new.
So, if you want to draw attention to your server you should make the Server name "Unique/Different/Interesting".
Otherwise people will pass over your server when in search for a game/server.
Just my professional UT opinion and common sense.
On the other hand if you're just looking for a name...pick what you like.

All votes count - if they didn't we wouldn't have a vote - we wanted everybodies opinion.
We know the game types are not new but one IS fairly new (MH) the 4 gametypes we offer all at one time is rare! :wink:

If people like the server they will stay and play.
From what I've experienced and have seen - when people play a server others follow if the server is any good at all.
So far we have got some regulars that seam to really like it.
Meat - I have ran servers for many years - even back before Hermskii started so i am not new to this.

Votes/regulars do count...if that is what you're after?
Is it?
Because that's all you'll get.
But if you want a crowd you'll need a "Name" that will attract new people.
Correct?
Because Names listed in the UT Server Browser and word of mouth are all we have basically.
(And I've run a server for less years than you and Hermskii and I know that)
And how will people know you have "4 game types" if you don't advertise as such?

So...you do the math...currently we have close to 430 server with about 150-175 players.
How are you going to get the numbers?

And Hook...I'm not being a smartass but a realist. I want you, me and two or three other
server to grow and populate.

I maybe wrong....but I doubt it....lol

Yes - I take MEAT's suggestions seriously and with great respect JackO.
And I think he is right about alot of it.
I also want to advertise the 4 gametypes - that is what I voted for! :wink:

ok its safe to say now that the poll itself will not decide the server name. It will be a major part of it but there are so many options now uggggg!!!!!!!

I kinda like the jolly rogers, if we picked that we could make a new logo, hooks skull and crossbones on a black flag lol. But we could do that for any name.
