Also, if you are still having those HOM's and BSP issues, try going to the Build Options (top right, next to the play map button) and set Minimize Cuts all the way to the left, (0). Should fix up some of them :)

When the engine creates a decal, it places a mini "texture". Each texture is actually just a square box with the picture in the middle. We just can't see the grey/black parts around the decal because it is masked. This is when stuff goes wrong, conventional mirrors using the Mirror flag wi...

Finally was able to get back to some UT and see the old community again :). Hopefully I'll get off my arse and finish these maps that have been put on the shelf for over a year! Anyways, just have a lot of stuff going on, but I'll still try to check back here more often. Can't wait to frag with you ...

I hate it when some people on redeemer arena servers just camp bot killing and end up winning cause the bots are on novice/average while everyone else was PvP. (Just a random thought :))

Actually, I didn't dl it from the demo folder. A little bit below you should see a UT_Demo folder, that's the one that has the 364 mb demo! :)

Welcome! Glad to see there are still many avid mappers out there both new and old. :) And yeah, I agree about the new ut's, they're a little "off" somewhat and focus on less hardcore and more new players. A bigger way to bring in the $$$ I guess, can't please your everyday gamer and hardco...

I reformatted my comp AGAIN, so I don't have ut anymore, and the disc's are so scratched up it's beyond recognition. Does that no delta patch thing w/ demo really work? (And hope you had a fun time Flatus! :) )

Yeah, I never really used the translocator in Deemer arena anyways though, so i'm used to this (not saying to base what it is supposed to be on my opinion) guess I'm just newbish at RA :P. Most pro's use it to dodge out of the way lol right MEAT?

lol GTA's been out for a while, I personally don't mind the newest one, it got a 10/10 in GameInformer :). Haven't played the newest one yet though, just saw some of the reviews. I stick to the Jak games for PS2, old but still have that platformer style.

everything lol not meant for servers, and it overrall just sucks since it was my first map. Bot paths are terrible, brushwork is bad ect.
