A good thing to do is to UPDATE your UT99 Master Server URLs!
(I am currently putting the final touches on a UT99 Updating Article - BTW)
Use the following Master Servers on both your UT installs...
(the master.qtracker.com is the new one - and you MAY already have done this???)
Change your last URL to the qtracker one as shown below in BOTH places in you ini file.
(You can Copy and Paste these right into you Unreal Tournament ini file - refer to the orange parts below)
In you Unrealtournament.ini file - Find where it says...

This should speed up the loading of your UT online game browser a bit!

PS: I will be researching additional UT99 Master Servers and their URLs and posting them here.

When you don't SEE some servers showing in the UT Browser, it is most likely that you are missing a Master Server URL.

* There is also a mod that speeds up the loading of servers in the Master Server browser.
We'll post it here as soon as I find it LOL

OK, I saw this thread and recalled Hook saying he had something like this running over here. Has anyone looked to see how many servers they can see and then altered their master server list with some of these new ones and then rechecked? I may have to give it a shot myself pretty soon just to see. This will end up being one of the most read posts here at Hook's ever in about 5-10 years when EPIC shuts down the main Master Server. Keep it here because as we all know, UT will live on thanks to people like Hook! Thanks Hook, CYA!

All I needed were the lines for qtracker.

There are other "lines" (Master Servers) to be added here - I gotta remind myself to do that.

I am not sure the masterserverport is correct though!

If you were looking at this website: http://unreal.epicgames.com/Master.htm
then that telefragged one is no longer around too, so really pointless to add it now.
http://www.telefragged.com is now redirected to http://www.gameranger.com/
Their masterserver doesn't seem to support UT, as it's not on the list of games on here: http://www.gameranger.com/games/

(LOL telefragged - ironic isn't it as it (telefragging) isn't allowed on CMM)

Yes, I just the other day I checked them and it said that the Server had Successfully Bound to it.
So, I guess it is Still working!
We'll have to keep an eye on telefragged's Master Server to make sure.
