The server is back up on MH!
I will now come back home (HUTP) and work on this baby again! Wink

I mean, i will continue my research on how to make it better, and i will now keep i up 24/7!

The ip is 71.146.14.72
Okay i have a coupleof things to go by first (comments and questions and statements.)

1. Sorry hook i cannot possibly host a second server, as much as i would love too, my internet barely has the upload bandwidth to host one server. I hope you can manage to figure out your problem and bring up your own server! Wink

Then i can host a MH one and you can do what you want lol! Laughing

2. The server is currently running only the utjmh mod, and the zark rifle mod, but something has caught my eye. The double jump mod, should i check this out? it sounds like fun, i can set it to as many jumps as i want, but it would really kill the bt lol.

3. Right now i hate to say, YOU guys can go ahead and try to make the server more popular, but right now, and i know you guys might be pissed to hear this, i dont really care if the server is that popular right now. I have some big swim meats coming up, and i have the end of the school year, finals and state testing, i have a lot going on right now, not too mention AGAIN the bandwidth, i dont want the server too popular cause then the server would be way to laggy lol. Laughing

The server right now is mainly for u guys over here at HUTP too have fun with, this is for u guys, but once summer hits, and i get bored lol, it will be time for some more fun Twisted Evil

Now i have a question:

this is too anyone who knows the answer, but if u guys cant answer it i might pm hermskii lol
If i have a lot of mods in my server ut install, can that affect (or effect not sure lol) the server in any way?

Hey, you just do what is important. Your School work & Swimming! Wink

Run the server as you wish with MH and I will try to set mine up also, soon.

As far as the mods, the only effects I can think of would be downloads, which if prperly redirected should not be a problem.
I HAVE heard though that too many mods can LAG a server!
I personnally do not like a lot of mods.
To me they mostly just muck-up a UT game! Mad

Some are very good to have but when UT starts looking like some other game, that is where I get off!
Give me some enhanced UT but I do not like to really change UT into something it is not. Wink

wait hook, yes too many mods on a server WHILE THE SERVER IS RUNNING is bad yes i know that, but i was wondering if just having mods sitting around in your server install but NOT RUNNING can cause lag?

LOL just scanned last night for spyware, woke up this morning with like 12 trojans....but i havent scanned in like two months haha
But i figured out its a problem with my player install of ut not my server install. But im still going to reinstall my server install to clean it up, too many messes up files lol.
mh ctf dm and rdm eh?
isnt that what it used to be lol?

Rofl, GET AVG INSTALLED AND LEAVE IT ON! Laughing

Whenever you download something it auto scans it, but doesn't pop up a window when it's scanning, so it's not as annoying, but pops up a message when a trojan or any other virus is detected which you can then choose to heal, wipe, or send it to a virus vault.

As for the choosing, idk what it was last time, that's just my pick lol. Wink

It will make the server lag a lot. Sure, it's a good game, but it's like 400 MB!
