our own downloads thread, this thread shall be divided into 6 Sections (as of April first 2008)
DO NOT POST HERE! THIS THREAD IS STRICTLY FOR DOWNLOADING ONLY! IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS/REQUESTS, THEN PLEASE REPORT IT IN THE REQUEST/ BROKEN LINK THREAD!

QUICK-HOW-TO-TUTORIAL!


Okay, if u want a map or a mod or anything, but you dont know how to run it , THEN THIS IS FOR YOU!

First off, to download anything, just click the mediafire link, and then click download.

Second, if u get a umod, then the only thing required will be to double click it, and then select the ut install that you use>

IE mine is c:/unrealtournament

Thats it! your download should work!! Mr. Green Mr. Green

Okay, if u recieve a download that consists of either a .u, .int, .unr, .utx, .umx, or .uax, then there are specific folders you have to stick them in!

Here is how it works it is very simple after all!! Wink
See in your unreal tournament install, there a few folders that are important for downloads they are:
the sound folder, texture folder, music folder, map folder, and system folder.

Here is a graph that may help:


File Extension---What type of file it is---What folder it belongs in:

.u---system file---System folder
.int---system file---System folder
.unr---Map File---Map folder
.utx---Texture file--- Texture Folder
.umx---Music File--- Music folder
.uax---Sound File---Sound folder


Hope that chart helps, so all you have to do is copy paste the file into its specific folder! Wink Wink

So say i download a map and a receive a sound file lets call this file Sound.uax
Then i would select that file, then copy it, and the paste it into the sound folder!

See easy as pie!

MODS/MUTATORS


Ok here are the mutators i have so far......Just click on the name of the mutator you want!



**BINSLAYER Sniper Rifle** --- a very cool sniper that shoots ammo that may annihilate your enemy! Cool custom death message too!

DeathMatch Plus --- When you get killed, you lose a frag. Simple as that lol Laughing

Server Adds --- more of an admin tool, is used to make messages appear in the chat box usually to advertise the server/clan. IE one of mine on our server says: Welcome to Crossbones~Your Destiny~ YOUR Way!

U4E V6 --- Unreal For Ever(U4E) cool skins, mutators, its a big mod lol

UTJMH29 --- Monster Hunt Mutator, used on alot of servers, can customize health regeneration, max health, max ammo etc.

UTM-COOP_b6 --- Cool mutator, Play as Your Favorite monster, has a lot of known bugs though lol ask anyone on this forum, went through some rough times....hah but is cool none-the-less Wink

Zark Rifle V4 --- Im just going to copy paste what hook's description for this sniper is :

Zero Ping Plus 103 --- Makes it so the supershockrifle, sniper rifle, enofrcer, and the shockrifle, has no lag when you shoot them, there are separate mutators so you can make it just the supershockrifle etc.

This is all i have SO FAR! will be updated from time to time....

**Means i Had to write a readme for the download, cant stand it when a mutator doesnt have one lol Laughing**
