I MAY test out my server again this coming weekend.
Either one night or both Friday & Saturday nights! 
4/13/07 & 4/14/07
I will post here - & maybe in the "Shoutbox" also if my server is up.
I will also Post the Server Name & the IP! 
It has been awhile so don't expect much LOL!
I will probably just have a limited number of maps - but we'll see.
No frills - well maybe a couple LOL.
It will most likely be up sometime after 11:00 pm Central time - Minnesota USA time - CDT.
If I raise that old dead server - please join me there!

Last night (5/3/07) I Installed a fresh UT99 Server on my Computer.
I followed Hermskii's Server How-To Manual closely! - His Manual is Great!
Hermskii's Manual can be DownLoaded form his SITE - See our portal page - then Links in lower left or click on Hermskii's "www" button!
When I first tried it out it was really laggy.
It was NOT because of my connection or IP or Hermskii's Manual, etc.
I tweaked it some in the ini file - this helped but didn't help enough.
I then tested my play-install on my new server setting my connection to Dial-up.
That helped a Whole Lot! It played great but with an occasional wierd lag! 
This tells me that the ini file still needs some more tweaking!
It is something to do with the "maxclientrate" I suspect.
I didn't have time to do this more final tweaking last night but will soon - hopefully tonight (5/4/07).
I will have to dig out my server tweaking guide from Innoxx.
The Server is called (something close to) ...
|Zark| ***HOOK's UT Place*** - www.hooksutplace.co.nr
I will be changing this name slightly as it looks alot like another server's name right now! LOL
It is version 436 - it has "Qfeedback & Zark RZA - V4 Rifle installed.
It still needs the Bonus Packs installed!
I will most likely be installing - a MapVote and maybe a few other minor frills but it will still be very PURE UT.
This server will be an "Occasional" server - it will only be up at certain times.
This is because it resides on the "Family" computer! 
I will be thinking of a way to let everyone here know when it IS UP and Running, right here on this forum!

My Server will most likely be UP tonight 5/4/07 late! (God willing)
I would say After 10:00 pm sometime!
Probably Saturday night(s) also!
This would be "RED CLOCK TIME" - see the main portal page!
Give it a try if you can - I may leave it go all night so you can try it at different time zones!
Let me know how laggy it is or any problems!
Remember it most likely needs more tweaking & also some more package installs - it is still pretty "Bare Bones" right now & maybe a bit shakey!  LOL

Sounds good! Although I doubt I'd be on at 10pmRCT (Red Clock Time) as it would be 4 in the morning here lol!!!

Has anybody Tried Out Our TEST Game Server yet?
I sure hope it works because we are setting up another one!!!
See the other post under this forum about the REDEEMER Arena OLD SKOOL Test Game Server coming!
