Hook's UT Place

I hear a lot of people who dislike vehicles. I tell you, nothing makes you hate vehicles more than Battlefield... Especially when it comes to jets and helicopters Sad

Never played UT3, it's one of those things where i'm of the position "I like UT2004 and 99 (NOT 2003). They got the balance right. If it isn't broken, don't fix it" Laughing

I have utk4 and i must say, if you don't add any mutator's like VehicleStuff, It's boring as hell, especially when there's some lamer shooting the goliath tank cannon right at spawnpoint! The vehicles are very unmatched (e.g. scorpion health like 300 and goliath like 800.) It makes it impossible to kill the goliath, making the game very discouraging. Ashamed

I must say, UT3 was fun...... For about a month, the mouse sensitivity is waaay more worse than ut99's. You can adjust it, but it's not like it will make a difference. Online play is impossible when the bloom effect and screenrefreshrate are litterally maxed out, like playing ut99 with 200% game speed Ashamed

. But, the vehicles were VERY fun, and i'm not much of a vehicle fan. Especially when you cook someone to gibs with the deathwalker >: ) Necris vehicles rule!

i Honestly prefer Ut2004 out of any of them , but UT3 is not a bad game i do play it on a regular basis ( as i do for UT99 and 2k4) the only problem is that there just isnt that many players , right now there is no redirect and epic games isnt realy even attempting to fix it, so right now there isnt very many custom maps becuse it would take to long to receive them when joining a server. I think if Epic games just gave the game a chance it would be just as good as UT99 was back in the day if not better.

Some Really like UT99. (or some say the proper acronym is just UT)
Of course most who still play UT99 REALLY LOVE UT99!
A "few" (very few) like(d) UT2003.
Some (dare I say many?) like UT2004 (or UT2k4)
Now a few Like UT3 (they left out one UT version here, UT2003, as that would have made UT3 -> UT4)
And also now a few Hate UT3. Shocked

And some think UT3 is just OK.

Oh, and, I guess UT3 has redirecting ability now. (as far as I have heard) Razz

That would really be horrible with out redirects!!!
The files must be huge! Shocked
