Hook's UT Place

ok story time kids!
Here is the story of how our server began:
I started playing ut99 online around july or august of 2007

My big bro had bought the game around 2000 but i had never tried it online before, plus i havent played it in years! Shocked

My little bro (X) and i started playing it online and i tried out a few ctf servers, THEY WERE HARD LOL!
X then found a mh server, it was some server with utjmh but we fell in love with monster hunt!
I looked for the server and never found it, but i did find one! It was herm's very own mhm. I fell in love with that server and the people there! I met my first ut friends: Roxas, Ice, and one that still plays ut today and is a admin at mhm, MATRIX! they were all a little younger than me but that was cool!

I then joined their forum and gained a lot of knowledge over the months! Same with my bro, although he was more fascinated with things like mapping and servers while i just liked to pwn!

So around october X tried his own server out called GateWays to Hell!!(sound familiar?) It was going fine, we fixed some problems and he had a few ppl come on!

but then he was having to many problems and eventually gave up! Crying or Very sad

Then around early december of 07, I, for some weird unknown reason, decided to make my own server! I took out X's old server and started working on it, eventually fixing all of the problems he had that prevented him from starting! He had everything already, mh maps, mapvote, bigiz mutator, everything.

Then as hook stated in his blog, i ran into his website while looking for some cool mutators, and looking for server help (major lag problems) he helped me out and he asked me if i would hook up my server with his forum.
I recognized hook for his mapping (played some of his maps before i met him) and i saw him around on Hermskii's forum, it was pretty ironic for me to run into this website on google! Twisted Evil

I of course said yes! and well here i am!

thank god too this place was looking dead, I felt like it was time for me to cause some trouble and piss off some people lol!

There is the history of our server, i know this is a blog but feel free to post any thoughts containing this post here!

OH yes and X you deserve a big thanks i would have never started a server if it wasnt for u!

motivating? HA! i did no such thing, my ideas for a server just caught his attention.
