Just an FYI ... (And a bit of History about Hooks UT Place) Laughing

My site/forums "Hook's UT Place" had been neglected since about mid 2007 until about 1 month ago.
This has always been my "pet" site(s)/forums and I was determined to get her going again!
The whole site has been up since 8/11/2001, we had around 200 members on the old site/forums.
We then added the newer forums on 3/6/2007.
So you see we have had a pretty long history for a specific game site.
Well, about a month ago I was thinking that a Game Server to go with the game site would be good as this combination always seems to work well for most forums with any activity at all.
I was and am still having problems getting my Game Server out on the net.
However, about that time, as luck would have it, I received an e-mail asking me about a DownLoad from my site and a slight problem the person was having.
It was a game server modification.
He told me he was setting up a new UT Game Server and the mod wasn't working online for him.
I figured what the problem was and told him how to correct it. - He was successful.
I also asked if he had a site/forums to go with his server. - He did not!
I told him how it is much better for success if the site had a server and vise-versa and offered to adopt his server on my site/forums.
Well the rest is History.
That person that e-mailed me was BiGbOsS!
Over the last month we have really made headway!
The site AND the game server have both been busy!
It seems the lull has been cured! Very Happy

We are still expanding what we started and it all looks great! Wink
